Located in Hinesburg, VT,  willing to travel in the New England area.

As I sit to write this “about me” section, I’m listening as my husband reads my son a story. My son is giggling like crazy and answering questions with silly nonsense. Snuggled up inside his robot sleeping bag, he leans across my husband’s lap to look at pictures. His room is covered in Legos, plastic army men, cars, and Cheerios. I freeze it all for a moment - I want to remember this sweetness.

I have discovered that ordinary life holds innumerable sweet moments. When I am older and look back at my life, these are the things I want to be able to recall - the quiet mornings spent reading, the maniacal laughter of my kids running around the backyard, playing with my daughter’s soft curls as I sing her to sleep, my son curled up in my lap all arms and legs and sweaty boy smell, still wanting to cuddle every now and then.

Why Family Documentary?

The goal of this style is to capture your life as it is at a particular moment in time. Maybe you are just about to have a baby, or you have three kids who seem like they are growing up too fast. Maybe you’re a newlywed couple who loves their dog or grandparents who have special playdates with their grandkids. Wherever you are in life, if you are enjoying yourself and want to remember it, this might be a photography style for you!

Each family has a rhythm and a style of life all their own. My goal as a photographer is to capture these ordinary moments that make up your sweet, messy life through family documentary style photography. I would love to spend a few hours with your family!
